  1. One of the last two cartoon shows (along with its spin-off, "I.M. Weasel") that Hanna-Barbera Productions was completely involved in from its inception, until the show was ended. Honestly, how either Hanna-Barbera Productions OR Cartoon Network was ever able to get THAT show past the censors is BEYOND me! I'm interested to see how this review plays out.
  2. I'll be Thurl Ravenscroft (he sang the original version of "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch".)
  3. One of the cartoons introduced thanks to "Oh, Yeah! Cartoons"! Basically Nickelodeon's answer to "Mega Man", but I LOVE it because of the action it has! I can't WAIT to read the review!
  4. This is going to SUCK!!!! Honestly, the only GOOD thing that came out of THAT show was that it ended up introducing the SUPERIOR in every way "Uncle Grandpa"! (Look it up...or don't, I REALLY don't care either way!)
  5. Craig T. Nelson had a guest role in this episode. Does anyone know which role he specifically played? In any case, it is rather interesting that we're FINALLY getting to see some ACTUAL character development for Pearl. It's as if the players FINALLY remembered to actually utilize her in plots; and figure out a way to utilize her that DOESN'T involve Mr. Krabs being cheap to her! It is rather interesting to see how Pearl became a cheerleader. Pearl has always been the type of character who doesn't know their own strength; so when she's finally made aware of HOW it can be useful, she decides to utilize it to her full advantage! Unfortunately, all the winning that Pearl and her team experiences; does lead to a rather REALISTIC "Acquired Situational Narcissism" for Pearl! And before long, the only team that's LEFT for Pearl and her team to play against, are a bunch of delinquents from New Kelp City that no OTHER team would DARE to touch! And against the SHEER muscles that Pearl has to face against; even her NEW tough football persona can't handle it! Fortunately, Spongebob (who replaced HER as a cheerleader) reminds her to be HERSELF, and she decides to COMBINE her passion for being a cheerleader, ALONG with football! And while she DOES score a goal; it's sadly a "Curb-Stomp Cushion" as the other team has ALREADY beaten Pearl's team by a score of 236 to 7. At least Coach Cod is impressed by Pearl's ability, as it STILL marks the highest score that Bikini Bottom's team has EVER scored against the New Kelp City team so far! But Pearl decides that she's had enough of being a football player, and decides to go back to being a cheerleader. I'd give this episode a 9.5 out of 10. Enough said, true believers!
  6. There aren't THAT many shows out there (let alone cartoon shows) that can honestly SAY that they've lasted for over 300 episodes on air! It might be PRETTY hard to talk about any other show after this one!
  7. I'm finally working on putting Roberta Flack onto my flash drive for my Radio D.J. shows...I do NOT know how I MISSED her until just recently! So far, my favorite song that she has done is her mega-hit song "Killing Me Softly With His Song".
  8. The show that STARTED it all for Nickelodeon! Too bad it turned out to be the PEAK for it's TECHNICAL creator...who turned out to be a TOTAL creep! (And I refuse to mention him by name out of respect for all the women that he hurt over the years!)
  9. The show was basically an excuse to have the voice actors for original Starfire and Raven to have MORE comedic interactions with each other! That being said; I still found it to be a fun show!
  10. I like how in this episode, Spongebob ONLY causes chaos and mayhem by a completely UNINTENDED accidents rather than on purpose as has been the case in the past. It makes sense that Sandy Cheeks would initially be a skeptic to magic, until she receives a GENUINE magic display PERSONALLY from the Magician; making her a skeptic no more! And the plot of this episode is kicked off when Spongebob and the Magician BOTH accidentally drop their pen and magic wand respectively; and they end up grabbing the WRONG things by mistake! I think this show is definitely starting to be more influenced by "The Patrick Star Show" since the randomness of the magic seems to be more akin to something found on that show! But when doctors can't HELP remove the wand, Spongebob knows that he needs Sandy's help! But even SHE'S initially stumped by how to safely help Spongebob out! That is; until the Magician comes to try to FORCIBLY remove the wand from Spongebob himself! Sandy and the Magician get locked into a magic duel (with Spongebob as the temporary magic wand) until Sandy gets the "Eureka! Moment" to utilize SCIENCE to remove the wand from Spongebob, and it works! Interestingly enough, just as Sandy was wowed by magic; the Scientist is wowed by the science! The magician gladly drops his grudge, and asks to learn science from Sandy! He even lets Spongebob have his wand, now that it's SAFELY out of Spongebob's body! I'd give this episode a 9.9 out of 10. Enough said, true believers!
  11. I feel like I have to say this: MOST OVER-HATED Nickelodeon show EVER!!!! Were ALL of the episodes good? Of course not! Are there several cartoon shows WORSE than "Breadwinners"? Yes, there are! I just like the episodes that ARE good, and I discount the ones that aren't; instead of blanket-hating the entire series like far too many people do!
  12. Out of ALL the movies that "Spongebob Squarepants" POSSIBLY could've referenced during its time as a show, I NEVER thought that they would basically do a "Whole Plot Reference" to "Apocalypse Now"; let alone do it by referring to the original title of "Heart Of Darkness" with "Heart Of Garbage". Granted, "Archer" and the original "Animaniacs" referenced to "Apocalypse Now"; but "Archer" is able to EASILY tackle a mature movie like "Apocalypse Now", while "Animaniacs" referenced just about EVERYTHING (especially within the Warner Bros. catalog). Anyways, you would THINK that by now; Squidward would KNOW to not pick fights with ANYBODY (I.E., practically EVERYBODY) bigger and stronger than he is! Could've avoided the WHOLE plot of having those garbage collectors DUMPING their trash in HIS house if he had JUST let their loud noise go! And in a "Surprisingly Realistic Outcome", Spongebob's enthusiasm for working can NOT over-ride just HOW exhausting it is to do both HIS job, and Squidward's job! Even worse, he did it for SIX weeks before FINALLY becoming tired! So during their free time, Spongebob and Patrick journey into Squidward's house; only to find that it has become a garbage jungle version of Vietnam! Bubble Bass keeps randomly appearing (maybe he's finally realized that the magical Beezle Bass is his ancestor, and he's starting to re-tap those magical abilities) and poor Scooter ends up DYING again! (Although at least this time, it's nobody's fault EXCEPT Scooter's! Anyways, it turns out that the overwhelming SMELL of the garbage affected Squidward's mind, as it caused him to forget everything about his normal life! And the reason WHY it doesn't take Spongebob and Patrick FOREVER to get out of Squidward's house, is that Patrick unwittingly lights some candles in the stinky smell; which causes Squidward's house to take off like a rocket! Although on the bright side, at least it will make clearing out the trash a LOT less complicated! Maybe it was the WORST "Garbage Cult" ever, but at least it was an interesting episode; I'd give it a 9.9 out of 10. Enough said, true believers!
  13. The show that gave birth to "Dexter's Laboratory", "Cow And Chicken", "Johnny Bravo", "The Powerpuff Girls", "Courage The Cowardly Dog" (and indirectly) "Family Guy" via "Life With Larry".
  14. Pim for the regular "Smiling Friends" character, Gwimbly as a client. (Gwimbly for "Super Smash Bros. 6", calling it RIGHT now!)
  15. "Kablam" was a very interesting concept with lots of different ideas crammed into it; even if I mostly watched it ONLY for the "Sniz And Fondue" cartoon shorts! Just as a side note, the first two "Angela Anaconda" pilot shorts were aired as a part of "Kablam". Although, I would much prefer it if we could have "Sniz And Fondue" be spun off into it's own show; I think it has a LOT of untapped potential!
  16. First off, I'm very glad that they're starting to integrate characters introduced in "Kamp Koral", into "Spongebob Squarepants". If that wasn't good enough, they're also integrating characters introduced in "The Patrick Star Show" into "Spongebob Squarepants". Both appear in this episode! Harv (along with Kevin and Bubble Bass) are members of a fan club. Spongebob and Squidina think that they are members of a Captain Quasar fan club! Technically, they ARE; but it's a brand new version, "Captain Quasar: The Next Iteration". It also helps me to see the personality differences between Harv, Kevin, and Bubble Bass. Harv is the nice, Kevin is the mean, and Bubble Bass is the in-between. Harv is fine with letting Spongebob and Squidina getting in, Kevin flat-out says no, and Bubble Bass is leaning towards ONLY liking the new version! When Spongebob and Squidina decide to start their own club to no avail, they instead decide to bring the REAL Captain Quasar and Pat-Tron to settle things! It seems that Patrick's Time Closet runs on San Dimas Time, as the original Captain Quasar and Pat-Tron are now significantly older than they were on "The Patrick Star Show". While Captain Quasar and Pat-Tron no longer have the physical strength and stamina to fight the younger actors, the original articles DO have REAL lasers; and that's what helps them win the fight! Bubble Bass proves that he's in-between, as he wisely folds in his argument; and decides to let fans of BOTH the original and the new "Captain Quasar" join in his fan club! I'd give this episode segment a 9.9 out of 10. Enough said, true believers!
  17. "You take the moon, and you take the sun; you take everything that seems like fun; you stir it all up and when you're done (you take a little piece, and you share it with everyone). So come on in, feel free to do some looking! Stay a while, there's something always cooking! So come on in, feel free to do some looking! Stay a while, cause something's always cooking; yeah!" A pretty solid show from former "Spongebob Squarepants" writer C.H. Greenblatt, filled with lots of meta humor and fourth wall breakage jokes!
  18. The people you can see on hayrides can get PRETTY weird!
  19. The only thing I remember about "The X's", is that Patrick Warburton did the voice of Mr. X. Some interesting plots, but I don't think it lasted for over one season.
  20. Has anyone ever gone on a hayride at night?
  21. Maybe if we're lucky, we won't see THIS person on the hayride!
  22. Believe it or not, this marks the first time since season one that we've actually HAD an episode revolving around Pearl at High School! Not only that, this marks the first real time that Mr. Krabs has been involved with Pearl that he DIDN'T try to be cheap; and legitimately TRIED to do right by her! Now THIS is the way that the relationship between Pearl and Mr. Krabs SHOULD be written! When Pearl offers Mr. Krabs the chance to let him cater her high school cafeteria, Mr. Krabs is actually RELUCTANT to do so at first (having had a not so pleasant high school experience); and actually changes his mind when Pearl REMINDS Mr. Krabs of all the potential NEW customers he could get! Spongebob and Mr. Krabs set off for Pearl's High School, while Squidward is FORCED to man the Krusty Krab all by himself! (Although in a rather amazing "Off-Screen Moment Of Awesome", Squidward DOES manage to handle an entire ANCHOVY rush all by himself without any physical problems!) While Mr. Krabs and Spongebob certainly WANT to cook up Krabby Patties for Pearl and her fellow students; the trouble is, that the Lunch Lady (despite being physically injured) just won't LET them cook with outside ingredients, or cook food in a way that's NOT how she has instructed them to cook it! Needless to say, no one (especially NOT Spongebob or Mr. Krabs) are impressed! In order to cook up the Krabby Patties, Mr. Krabs has Pearl distract the Lunch Lady with cheer-leading! Needless to say, the students MUCH prefer Krabby Patties to boiled, spice-less lunch meats! But when the Lunch Lady discovers the trick, she becomes SO livid; she literally FORCES herself to heal back to full health in order to stop it! To prevent the Lunch Lady from ruining lunch, Pearl and her fellow students gaslight the Lunch Lady to start a food fight against them! And since the only thing the Lunch Lady has to throw are the Krabby Patties she's trying to confiscate; she throws them, and the students eat them! During the mayhem, Spongebob KNOCKS a Krabby Patty into the Lunch Lady's mouth! And like so many characters that have NEVER had a Krabby Patty before, she ends up loving it! And she reveals that BECAUSE she's had to cook School meals for so long, she had forgotten how good food COULD taste! To make it up to them, she let's them all take a field trip to the Krusty Krab; making it not only one of the best days for the Krusty Krab in terms of profit; but also a good day for Mr. Krabs and Peral's relationship! I'd give this episode a 10/10! Enough said, true believers!
  23. After a string of episodes that didn't leave me feeling strongly enough to review it as either favorable or not, I was worried that this season was going to not have any significant episodes for me to WANT to review it! Thankfully, it seems that the dry (pun unintended) spell has broken! Kaz writes this episode after having taken a rather lengthy break, and it seems like the break was well worth it. This episode feels like the most energetic, most enthusiastic, and most creative episode segment that Kaz has written in quite a while! The energy feels akin to the episodes Kaz wrote on "Camp Lazlo". The facial expressions the characters make are gold, and Tom Kenny feels like he's starting to feel passionate about voicing Spongebob again, since he does things with Spongebob's voice that he hasn't done in quite a while. Unlike the other two episode segments we've had about a character or characters being forced to clean up Bikini Bottom, Spongebob Squarepants decides to do it by choice! I never would've expected Plankton to decide to antagonize Spongebob in an episode without it turning out to be ANOTHER plot to try to uncover the Krabby Patty Secret Formula! But as it turns out, Plankton decided to torment Spongebob with a piece of trash that COULDN'T be picked up; all because Spongebob ACCIDENTALLY poked Plankton earlier in the episode segment! But Spongebob's drive to clean up proves to be too much for Plankton to handle, and both Plankton and Spongebob end up crashing down onto the Bikini Bottom beach, totally messing up all the hard work that Spongebob had done. Right or wrong, Spongebob and Plankton are BOTH sentenced to clean up the Bikini Bottom beach for an entire year, and Plankton acts like it's ALL Spongebob's fault! I'd give this episode segment a 9.9 out of 10! Enough said, true believers!
  24. Time permitting, the hayride will also take us by the pumpkin patch.
  25. Cartoon Network's first big breakout full-fledged show! DEE DEE!!!! Get out of my laboratory!
