I know they'll inevitably cool off at some point, but the Cubs just look like absolute juggernauts so far this season, as my Nats saw this weekend :S

  2. I know we have a few topics on Youtube itself but not many on actual YouTubers, so I thought why not?

Markiplier (or just Mark) is definitely my current favorite YouTuber and I've subbed to him since 2012. He originally made his mark (heh, pun, heh) in mostly indie horror games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent and various Slender man games, although he's expanded to several non horror games in the years since. He's also done various live action skits over the years. Above all else though, I love what I feel is a genuine love for his fans over the years, from various live streams to raise money for charities to videos where he solely reads comments/mail from fans. He just seems quite refreshing to most YouTubers I have seen.

Feel free to discuss his videos (and himself) below.

  3. It was pretty decent. The beginning was a little rushed I thought but it didn't drag too long at least. I thought Squidward's "I'm in a dream" subplot was rather annoying and got old sans him pulling down Mr. Krabs pants which got a chuckle out of me. Otherwise, it was a standard Chum Bucket/steal the formula episode and it was a decent one at that. 6.5/10

  4. The cops being randomly Irish was weird, but I'll give the writers some credit for trying some Happy Days/Westside Story references in the storyline. It all felt really discombobulated in the end though. It felt like we went from a plot to "RANDOM DANCE PARTY" and the appearances of Mr. Krabs and Patrick, who hadn't even been mentioned in the episode. It all just felt very disorganized and the plot "just happened" to be resolved coincidentally rather then normally. I really didn't hate this ep, but I really just didn't like the ending above all else. 5.5/10

Feel free to discuss your thoughts on the season below.

If anything has surprised me so far, it's probably the poor starts the Blue Jays and Astros have had so far considering the offensive juggernaut Toronto was last year and the Astros realistically being a bullpen meltdown away from the ALCS. I think one of them can still pick it up and make the playoffs (probably the Astros) but their hole is rather deep now. Positively, the White Sox have surprised considering all the drama regarding them in Spring Training. Nice to see both sides of Chicago in contention for once.
