During Snowcember Ball 2025, each game and activity will award you snowballs. Whoever comes in 1st place at a main game will receive 20 snowballs while 2nd and 3rd places will receive 15 and 10 snowballs respectively. You can also be awarded 10 snowballs for participating in Secret Santa and 5 snowballs by minigames. You can lose 5 snowballs by failing a minigame. Whoever has the most snowballs gathered by the end of the event will receive 4,000 doubloons, a Snow Champion badge, Holiday Plankton collectable and 400 experience points. Whoever comes in 2nd will receive 3,000 doubloons, 300 experience points and the Holiday Plankton collectable. Whoever comes in 3rd will receive 2,000 doubloons and 200 experience points. From December 12th to December 30th, Snowcember Ball 2025 will spread holiday cheer across the community. The Snowball Contest will return, where each game and activity will reward you with snowballs. Whoever has the most snowballs by the end of the event will receive joyous gifts, but whoever comes in 2nd and 3rd overall will also receive prizes. Here’s a list of what activities to expect: Stop What You Are Doing - Holiday Edition: SWYAD returns for the 59th edition. Decorate your username with a holiday or cold theme. Reserve a name in this thread or via Discord if you haven't already. Whoever participates automatically gets 10 snowballs. Cards Against Humanity: Cards Against Humanity will be every Friday night during the event at 7pm EST. QueUp Parties: Play your favorite holiday songs every Friday night at 8pm EST, and earn snowballs by guessing the secret song. SpongeBob Pictionary: Two games will be a part of the event on December 13th and 20th. The first game will be about anything cold, so hope you can brace the weather! Finished my playthrough and enjoyed my time. I’m not sure how I compare it to Cosmic Shake overall since it is a shorter experience but it does refine its mechanics. If I had to compare it to anything, I’d say it’s akin to the modern version of the Movie Game with the lengths, both basically being expansion packs to their preceding games and SB/Pat both being playable. I honestly think it’s better than that, the game did a great job balancing both their gameplay styles. It's a short experience so you may walk away from it wanting more but I didn’t mind because I’d rather have a few satisfying quality levels than too many with filler. All the levels certainly delivered with quality and are meaty as is, they're definitely some of the best in any SB game. Goldfish Island is probably my favorite first level in an SB game, I like how it mixed Goo Lagoon and Kelp Forest's aesthetics together into a unique location. The Neptune's Palace and Atlantis City stretch was an adrenaline rush I haven't felt with SB content in years. The platforming was top notch and the story progression was actually interesting to see unfold. I like how Frozen Jellyfish Fields completely played with your expectations, which I initially thought would be samey going in but ended going in a very different direction compared to other iterations of the location. The boss fights were also better than Cosmic's and quite the fun spectacles. The dialogue was good and gave me genuine smiles. I eagerly look forward to whatever Purple Lamp does next in another few years because they only get better. Also shoutout to them for taking a location from Are You Happy Now of all eps and making an intense fun level out of it lmao
