Here’s a preview of a hit new show coming to Nickelodeon.
1a. Help Needed
Deep down in the ocean, the audience is introduced to a small little town known as Bikini Top; a narrator with a British accent muses on the wonders of undersea life. The British Narrator introduces the audience to both Bikini Top and SpringBoob SquirePin, one of his favorite sea creatures. SpringBoob is sleeping in bed in his pear home before his alarm clock goes off, waking him up and cheerfully greeting his pet snail Larry. He's eager to get ready for the day that he is to apply for a fry cook job at the Musty Dab. He warms up by lifting a weight with stuffed animals before jogging to the restaurant with his iconic "I'm here!", while encourages him from his coconut house.
SpringBoob starts talking about what job he will do when he reaches the Musty Dab, but feels like his reach is not ready. Jatrick Scar then appears, encouraging him that he was born to have a job. SpringBoob eventually decides to go to the Musty Dab to get the job. Squidlard Tortellini sees SpringBoob running to the restaurant, causing him to panic and to tell Mr. Dabs to watch out for SpringBoob.
SpringBoob has already arrived, though, and he tries to get Mr. Dabs to give him the job after jumping back and forth across the restaurant after tripping on a loose nail. He tells Mr. Dabs that Squidlard will vouch for him, but he tells him that he does not believe SpringBoob should get the job. In response, Mr. Dabs tells SpringBoob that if he gets a seemingly nonexistent hydro-dynamic spatula, he will get the job. SpringBoob then quickly runs to the BarnacleMart to get it, as Squidlard and Mr. Dabs laugh, thinking he will not have the job.
Soon after SpringBoob leaves, five buses filled with a bunch of hungry eels arrive at the restaurant, making Squidlard and Mr. Dabs panic, as the latter knows what happens when eels come. As the eels flood the restaurant, Squidlard tries to get them all settled, but they're still crazy. It seems the two are both finished due to the flood of eels, but then SpringBoob arrives with the hydrodynamic spatula he found (as there was only one in stock), having fulfilled the errand Mr. Dabs gave him and leaving the two in stunned surprise. SpringBoob goes into the kitchen and, in a montage accompanied by Soulja Boy's “Crank That" cooks many Dabby Patties then tosses them to all the hungry eels until they all feel satisfied and leave the restaurant. Mr. Dabs recruits SpringBoob as a fry cook thanks to him saving the Musty Dab from the eels, much to Squidlard's chagrin, then goes to his office to count the day's profits. Then, Jatrick walks into the restaurant and order a Dabby Patty, prompting SpringBoob to create a slew of patties and chuck them all at him, flinging the former out. Squidlard tells Mr. Dabs to go see SpringBoob and possibly get him in trouble for the mess he made.
1b. Leaf Blower
Squidlard goes outside then spots a shell on his lawn. He kicks the shell onto SpringBoob's yard to keep his own clean, but SpringBoob is also very protective of his lawn, and gets out a leaf blower from his garage to get rid of it, the noise of the machinery making Squidlard irritated. SpringBoob, struggling to blow away the shell, ends up blowing it so hard sand comes out and lands on Squidlard. SpringBoob comes to Squidlard and blows off the sand that landed on him, as well as his face. Seeing that there is a huge pile of sand on his yard, SpringBoob sets the blower to reverse, sucking up the sand pile, but the leaf blower starts to break apart and throws out sand. SpringBoob opens up the zipper behind the leaf blower and puts the excess sand that was thrown out in there. He tries to start it again, but it does not work. This prompts SpringBoob to pull the handle of the leaf blower very far. Once he feels he is far enough, he lets go and quickly zips through the distance he went back onto the blower. As such, SpringBoob starts sucking up the entire ocean, causing Squidlard to almost suffocate to death, but the leaf blower explodes due to over capacity and shoots all the water sucked up back out again. SpringBoob is happy that his lawn is clean, but Squidlard's lawn is filled with sand. The shell lands on Squidlard's nose, much to his dismay.
1c. Coffee at the Plantdome
While SpringBoob is urchinfishing, he stumbles upon a land monkey fighting a clam. He attempts to save her, but she saves herself just before the clam eats SpringBoob. After the monkey, named Mandy, saves SpringBoob, the two greet each other and start bonding. When he notices the air helmet she uses to help her breathe, he convinces her that he likes air too, despite not knowing what air is. Mandy tells SpringBoob to come over to her plantdome for coffee and cookies, and gives him a map of where her plantdome is.
SpringBoob goes to Jatrick to tell him about what he went through. When Jatrick hears from SpringBoob that Mandy wears a "hat full of air," he misinterprets this as a statement that she "puts on airs," and that he needs to be fancy by putting his pinky out. The next day, SpringBoob arrives to Mandy's home, but when he goes inside, he realizes the plantdome is entirely filled with air. SpringBoob starts having trouble breathing and begins to dehydrate as a result, but will not admit this to Mandy.
As Mandy is showing her house, SpringBoob attempts to use a birdbath to absorb water, only for the bird to angrily kick him out. Jatrick reminds him to put his pinky out, and SpringBoob also brings flowers for Mandy. SpringBoob asks Mandy for water when she asks if he needs anything, but misinterprets this as needing a vase with water inside for the flowers. When Mandy leaves, SpringBoob desperately wants to get out of the plantdome, but before he gets out, he remembers Jatrick’s advice, "When in doubt, pinky out," and remains in the plantdome despite being severely dehydrated. Mandy comes back with the water vase for the flowers, and attempts to start talking to SpringBoob again. When an oven timer inside her plantdome goes off, Mandy leaves again. SpringBoob starts wondering if he needs the water in the vase, repeatedly telling himself he doesn't need it, but eventually relents. SpringBoob drinks all the water in the vase and bolts for the door, only for Jatrick to come inside and prevent him from leaving. Jatrick says that everything will be fine, but as he walks and stays inside the plantdome, he starts choking due to the lack of water as well.
The two attempt to get out, and when Mandy comes to them with some tea and cookies, she is shocked when she sees the two have dried up. As a result, Mandy quickly brings water helmets for them so they can survive in the plantdome and tells them if they needed water, then they should've asked for it. The trio happily drink some tea.
After this successful pilot, SpringBoob was eager to continue. But a familiar fellow named SpongeBob SquarePants from Bikini Bottom got wind of this story and was not pleased.
“Hey wait a minute…SpringBoob stole my idea!”
SpongeBob goes to Bikini Top. He blows a giant bubble that surrounds the entire cast of SpringBoob SquirePin, sending them floating up to the Great Beyond. They died on their way back to the home planet.
