  1. Stephen Hillenburg, friendly local marine biologist turned one of the most lengendary animated television series creators of all time. The single man that brought every one of us members together whether that was from the beginning of the website in 2009 or to you newer members as recent as this year. ALS is a vicious disease and although most of us suspected Mr. Hillenburg to be able to fight it off a bit longer, he at least I really hope he had the chance to be around the people he loved during those critical moments. Without him though, we, his fans wouldn’t have had all these shared laughs over silly and dumb quotes, the passion to create spin-off stories of our own and there would be overall, no SpongeBob SquarePants and the vast amount of other colorful, unique characters he’s created. There would be no Community he is our Community. But Mr. Hillenburg was so much more than the most powerful voice in Nickelodeon’s franchise empire. He was a beloved husband and father, a snorkler, a birdwatcher, a drummer with his fellow drummer son Clay and an overall great guy to be around I’m sure any of his colleagues, friends and family would proclaim. He’s impacted millions if not billions over these years, it’ll be hard to go without him truly as I could say for many fans and people close to him. Mr. Hillenburg, thank you. Thank you for letting us all have glimpse inside your incredibly talented mind. Thank you for the chance you had to make TV a more optimistic, bright and nautical nonsense place. Sincerely yours, The SpongeBob Community

  3. Before I even say anything, I just want to give the biggest possible "thank you' to absolutely everyone here. Whether you actively fought until the bitter end in this Internet war against common decency or were a passive audience, your support and your love for this community is the reason we are all here today. The fact that you all want our community to thrive and to be happy, the fact that an outsider like my own mother could recognize this and fight for hilaryfan to restore our website in the name of community-- it shows me that we have a bond that cannot be broken by one developer. The support you have all given me after I told my story has shown me that you aren't just some kids I talk to on the Internet, but that there is something extremely real about the friendships we've made. I feel as though I have become closer to so many of you in just this weekend, and as I told more people my story and felt more support, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed by everything. There are so many of you I want to thank for this, it'd be impossible to get everyone but even if I don't mention you by name, your support and the conversations we've had meant so much and I value you deeply. First, to @jjsthekid @JCM and @tvrepairman. The work that you guys put in to save SBC in case we got taken down is absolutely incredible. You have proven your love for this community and this group. I want to especially mention jjs here because I know how much you went through emotionally over this past week and how strong you still were in ensuring me justice, no matter what cost it came at. I've felt our friendship grow much stronger over the past month or so and I cannot be happier for that. Your hard work and dedication are nothing short of admirable, and I couldn't be happier that you're our lead admin. You're a role model for us all of someone who can not only lead with an iron fist but of a leader who can understand and engage with their membership. To @Hayden, the first person who would ever hear me out about this. Confiding in you ever since that February day has been one of the most important aspects of my entire year, and your encouragement of me to go public with this while simultaneously understanding my apprehensions have made you one of the few users who I feel has a true understanding of exactly how I've felt. You never once doubted, you never once blamed me and you were always there to listen when I needed you. You have become an essential part of my SBC friend group and someone who I've always been able to trust. I cannot thank you enough for listening to me, and for being the reason I made the realization in the first place. (you also showed me total drama and adventure time. you are the best) @Cha♡ You already know what I'm going to say here... but I'm gonna say it anyway. You are my best friend, the person I confide in the most, the person I spend the most hours with and the person who over the last four hours I've come to trust and love the most. I appreciate every single hour we've spent together, every single post we've made, and every single ounce of support you've ever given me. I wake up everyday excited to talk to you and I hope you know the impact you've had on me, because it's absolutely undeniable. Forever ur the Ryan to my Sharpay and the Sam to my Carly. To both @Monika♥ and @DarknessDG , who's support has been extremely helpful during this time and who have made me laugh countless times in moments where I felt most hurt. You guys made some of the best posts I've ever read here in the Resignation topic before it was redacted. To @Halibut, @Mr. Saturn, and everyone else on the CyTube Discord, thank you for allowing me to vent and for being some of the most understanding, genuine people here. I admit that just like everyone else I had my preconceived notions on this group, but I've come to see what sweet and understanding people you all are and I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to express my anger and reciprocating in the way I needed. Special shoutout to Halibut for being one of my closest defenders throughout this and one of the most willing to listen, you're incredible man. To @OWM, @Patty Sponge, and @Bieber Tentacles-- the moderating team as a whole, honestly, thank you for being extremely understanding of my situation and for dealing with what you had to in the moderator PMs. You guys are incredibly patient and incredibly understanding and I cannot express enough how comfortable I feel here under your moderation. To @Sauce Mama, @WumboJack Horseman, @TJ12, @Young Nug, @Clappy, @big dragin123 ay ay ay , and @rdctd, I cannot thank you enough for supporting me despite the fact that we come from entirely different SBC generations and our interactions have been for the most part limited. Your support has meant so much to me and I cannot thank you enough for listening to me. And to new friends: @Katniss, @President Squidward, @HawkbitAlpha , @kev, @Master WhoBruh, @RDSP and so many others-- all of this could not have been achieved without your love and support. I could've never had my story listened to and heard without those of you who were willing to listen and to support me, and I cannot appreciate enough the fact that even when allegations were made that seemed impossible to believe, you came to my defense and showed me love like I've never known. To SBC, long may we stand together. I love each and every one of you.

  4. As some of you might have heard on Discord as of late, SpongeOddFan will soon be undergoing heart surgery in a few weeks which made many of us respond quickly to such news. We as staff and especially myself personally would like to expand our deepest wishes and hopes for his operation to be as safe and comfortable for him as possible. Feel free to share positive vibes here for him and whatever else you’d like to say. On behalf of everyone here, we love you a lot SOF and wish you the best on your road to this and recovery time as well. ???

  5. I said that I was going to post my member reviews this week as celebration of my 7,000th post, but since I'm not even close to getting the reviews done, I've decided to take a page out of Jelly's book and do a portrait of SBC. Here's what I have so far. I've obviously missed a bunch of people, and before you get out your pitchforks and torches, bear with me, because this is is going to be a HUGE project, and I'll need help from everyone if I want to make it as hilariously awesome as possible. So, what do you think so far? Am I crazy? Should I never pick up a drawing pencil again? Post all of your complaints in this thread, and I'll make sure that my secretary gets to them.

  6. Yup, today officially marks SBC's 9th anniversary! I know that may sound hard to believe to some, but indeed, here we are after nine years. I'm honestly proud the site is still going after everything it's been through, and happy to see so many people still visiting, regardless of how many years you've been here, whether newer or a veteran. We've had a strong community together, even for those that don't talk about SpongeBob anymore. I'm glad that bond we have with each other has continued over the years. As a special gift, everyone who logins will get 250 doubloons today! A truly special thanks goes out to all the members and staff who have helped keep it afloat, and are still helping, throughout these nine years. Here's to making it through more years! Everyone is welcome to share their heartwarming, emotional and celebratory thoughts here. And yes, SBC will indeed be turning 10 years old next August! Believe me when I say we'll be having a great celebration for that coming next year!

  7. Happy 10th birthday, SBC! (Credit to Cha for this image) 10 years ago on this very day, terminoob created a small refuge community on forumotion to get away from tv.com\'s staff. It would not open its doors to the public until fall 2009, and like several other tv.com escape offshoots at the time, many assumed it would not take off at all. They would be right, but through a combination of community teamwork and possibly just luck, here we are 10 years later. I could say much about my own experiences on SBC, but honestly, I’d rather not make this about me. This celebration is for the members. What made SBC so special was its strong community, staff and most importantly, all the members over the years that helped it grow into the plant it is today. While I cannot say for sure what the future will hold, the fact we made it this far makes me realize SBC will always be around in some form. There is something truly special, almost magical, about this site and the community it attracted. SBC is not a place, it’s a people. I give a special thanks to everyone, new and old, who has stuck around through the site’s ups and downs. With how important the community is, over the past few weeks, I asked several users to write up sentimental toasts for SBC, similar to what we did five years prior. Here they are below (note you'll probably have to open a few in another tab to see them). Do not feel left out though, because if you have your own sentimental posts to make, by all means, make them here. Happy 10 years, and once again, thank you, everyone! We have a multitude of activities for this event we hope many will partake in.

  8. By now, the rest of staff already knows this, but at this time, I'd like to inform you guys - the members. Effective today, I am resigning as a Manager on SBC. It's been such a joy to serve you all and to have helped coordinate our successful projects this Spring, including the ninth Spin-Off Festival and the implementation of V13. At this time, I'd just like to explain a little bit of why I'm stepping down. Over the past year, alongside getting the amazing opportunity to be an SBC admin, I have also started a career in publishing. And more recently over the last few months, I have begun to make significant strides in this field, so I am going off to explore this avenue full-time. Unfortunately, this conflicts with my duties as a Manager on this community. So despite how hard this might be, I see no other choice but to step down. In that same manner, it's probably safe to say that I will not be as active here anymore either. And this doesn't mean I'm just disappearing forever, because this wonderful site means so much to me. I'll still drop in from time to time for sure. SBC was a second home to me through a somewhat turbulent adolescence (whose teenhood wasn't the slightest bit chaotic, amirite), as I'm sure it was to a lot of other veterans, and what it is now for the modern day userbase. However, I think there's something to be said about leaving "home" and getting a little lost out there (in a good way ? ). And on that note, I am reminded of this beautiful quote: "Where we love is home. Home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts." So to this site, I say "Thank You." To my good friends here, @Jon Snow, @SOF?, @Hayden, @WhoBob, and so many more. To my fellow staff members, truly a stellar team, @JCM, @OWM, @PEPSI✭MAN, @smashmouthfan99, @Cha, @Patty Rose, @Aquatic Konquest. To all the members here, thank you for letting me be your admin, your friend, your colleague. I'll never forget the memories I've made here, the experiences I've had (in leadership especially), and the lessons I've learned. And I know Spin-Offs aren't as popular anymore, but it was through them that my writing style grew and I become even more confident as a storyteller. So wherever I go next in my career, I will always be held forever in this site's grace for pushing me there, for being a stepping stone. Alright, I've rambled enough. Thank you, and take great care of this forum for me until I get back from where I'm going . Much love, teenj12.

  9. I just realized I've been here for eight years (wow!) and I decided to actually celebrate my SBC anniversary for once with shout outs to everybody who impacted my time here. I'm also gonna do it in alphabetical order because I love everyone here equally. (jk it's because i'm ocd) Let's get started: @70s - you were the leader when i joined, and despite all the controversies, i think you're a nice guy, and i hope your life is going a lot better @Young Nug - you were the first person to trust me with a mod position after i imploded, and i did a lot better the second time around, so i thank you for believing in me, and even though your tenure as leader was short, we wouldn't be where we are without you @Burgerpants - my first memories of you are from when you were calvinfan, and we need more calvin and hobbes love on this forum @CDCB - despite your best efforts not to be, you're hilarious, and i'm glad i got to see your greatness in jep one last time @CartoonCF - never really talked to you, but you're one of the ogs, so mad respect @?Cha? - you're an amazing artist, and an amazing human being, and i wish i could always be as positive as you are @Clapmaster - you're the most mature person on the forum by a wide margin, and i will always value your input. i'm glad real life hasn't caused you to completely abandon sbc like most of our older members. @ClassicNickelodeon Fan 1 - wherever you are, you'll always be one of my closest friends, and one of my favorite cartoon fanatics @Deli - idk maybe disney will do something with the muppets again when they're done taking over the world also i miss you please come back @dragiiin123 - i'll never be as good of a troll as you were in your prime. you're one of my biggest inspirations, and i would love to talk to you again. @Southparkfa - you're a great writer, and i would love to see you back at it again @Old Man Bran Flakes - you're one of our coolest members, and i'm so happy you agreed to mod for us @G4ry the Snail? - you made guys like me who weren't really into up love dug and guys like pretty much everybody else on sbc who weren't into sports love (or at least tolerate) sam darnold, so keep doing what you're doing, because it's working really well @imagoofygoober2004 - despite not even being here for a year, you're already one of our most active members, and i'm grateful to you for helping keep this old forum chugging along @Holy Halibut - you're an IRL band geek, and as somebody who was in band myself, i respect the level of dedication it must take. sorry if i sometimes get you confused with whobob. i can't promise it won't happen again @HawkbitAlpha - your redemption arc has been incredible, and i'm glad you gave us another chance, because you're one of our smartest members, and i would love to debate politics with you someday @EsponjadeMar - your competitive spirit pushes me to the best i can be, and even though we don't always get along, the site wouldn't be the same without you @kylie - you've probably gone through more than anybody else here, and it warms my heart to see that you've only come out of it stronger. i believe you're destined for great things, and i hope you remember us little people when you accomplish them @jjsthekid - like i said before, you're the most dedicated person i've ever met, and it has been an honor running sbc with you this past year or so @katnisslovestacos - i tease you a lot, but you're one of my favorite members, and tacos are awesome @kevin_ng2010 - hi, kevin. i'm your biggest fan @Aquatic Konquest - like cha, you're an amazing artist, and i'm thrilled to have you on our fry cooks team @scarypants - you seem pretty chill from what i've seen of you. it's a shame we didn't meet when i was more active @MMM - we did meet when i was more active and you were like 10. the fact that you're in high school now is one of the many things that make me feel old, but i like you just as much now as i did back then @Mothra - you made some pretty cool skins back in the day @NegiSpongie - you have a wonderful personality @Old Man Jenkins - thank you for letting me kill you off so much in jcmovies. you truly are the bromj @ooooooofy - counting the o's in your name is one of my favorite pastimes @TheOpenWindowManiac - i love having you for a mod and hope you stick around for another year or two @Scooter the Surfer - you've been one of our most helpful members since coming back, and even though i might now show it much, i'm grateful to you for all your hard work @President Squidward - squnschpunsch has gone from being a meme to being a movement, and it's all because if you. i even made a squnschpunsch drawing, and i rarely do drawings of anything anymore. i hope i can one day be as devoted to art as you are @RDSP - you're one of our smartest members, and i hope whenever you're feeling down you remember that there's tons of people here who love you @Renegade the Unicorn - i was re-introduced to cerebus the aardvark because of you and i actually like it! @Sauce Mama - you're good at singing and stuff @spongeboblover and @SpongeOddFan - the raptors are national champions, and even though your team is a little less kawaii now, i love your chances of doing it again @SG19 - i'm so happy you finally graduated, and i hope that you end up somewhere awesome @Sebby - no offense to cnf or patty, but you're the GOAT sbc news host @spongebobfan200 - you're one of our best ogs, quietly a monster at jep, and just a cool all around guy @teenj12 - another og, it's still weird not seeing you as a mod or admin, but i'm happy you're living your best life @terminoob - you created sbc. nuff said @Gustavo Rocque - talking sports with you is always fun @tvrepairman - even though spongebob universe failed, the only reason it got as far as it did is because of your vision and the crazy amount of hard work you put into it. i hope that you're able to work towards something successful in the future @Nosferatu! - even though you stole my name, i can never stay mad at you @SB_DW_Fan - you're probably the only person here who loves dc stuff as much as i do. sorry if i sometimes get you confused with halibut. i can't promise it won't happen again @Wumbo - i wish i could have the same passion for music that you do, but it's all wumbology to me. you're still one of my favorite members, and the raptors are national champions! That's it for the shout-outs! If I missed you or you feel that your shout-out wasn't good enough, feel free to yell at me or threaten to quit SBC or whatever. I won't take it personally. My fingers are hurting and I just want to sleep. gn

  10. Given recent events across the community, I'm sure many of you expected staff changes, given how shorthanded we've been since the events occurred. The time has come for staff changes: We have a new admin and moderator to help bring balance back. Here is a list of changes: As you're all aware, @JCM is an admin again and now has complete control of SBC's servers and databases! He is our big tech guy for now. Just please don't bug him too much. Next up, @TJ12 is now an admin! Teenj has had quite a loyal and dedicated history at SBC, serving as a mod for quite a few years. But he is now coming out of retirement to evolve into an admin. He has the experience, passion and is someone I trust a lot to help lead the site. And last but certainly not least, @Homie ? is now a moderator! Homie is someone who truly deserves this position, not just because of her actions during recent events, but how she has handled herself in general on the site. Give Homie and teenj a special round of applause! SBC has entered a new era and regardless of wherever that era goes from here, I have faith it will go well thanks to our current staff team. (Seriously tho, let's hope we keep a stable staff for a while!)

  12. That's right, we have a brand new SBC user group! But wait, some of you might be asking...didn't we have a group called "Loyal Customers" back in 2013? Yes, we did. That was a group name to replace the Representative Board. It was originally meant to be a VIP group like Good Noodles, but it never panned out. However, it's finally panning out now. As a throwback, we're naming our new VIP group after them. Loyal Customers is SBC's exclusive VIP group, similar to our old Good Noodles group, but with a lot more advantages. You can buy access to this group for 15,000 doubloons. What do they get? Here's a list... Exclusive Loyal Customer group badge: Green colored username (if chosen as primary group). Access to an exclusive club and forum called "The Secret Box", where you can just chill, suggest ideas to SBC's staff (we can't guarantee all will be used/possible however), and get sneak peeks of future SBC projects/events. Increased signature image size: All other members' signature pictures cannot go beyond 700 x 200, but Loyal Customers' limit is 750 x 300. Only a small difference, but hey, it's something. Exclusive iFish items in the Costume Store. More will be added in the future, but right now they have access to 28 exclusive items for your fish! Access to exclusive skins. Much like the iFish items, more will be added in the future, but right now, LCs can see 6 skins, which are: "Tropical Sandy", "The Gary Community", "Attack on Bikini Bottom", "Sea Legs", "Midnight in Bikini Bottom" and "8-Bit Community" (this one is buyable through the skin store). Special SpongeCraft advantages. If you're a Loyal Customer, you get access to the following things in SpongeCraft: 1.) Skin uploads, which can be accessed via a generator in the directory. 2.) Use of TNT and Fire items. Do note abuse of these will result in loss of VIP privileges. 3.) Ability to spawn creatures such as Squidwards. 4.) Ability to add fancy effects to your character. Access to Takin' Out the Trash forum. Can upload up to 4.5MB in attachment size, as opposed to 2MB for everyone else. ...and more features to come in the future! The item can be found in the store, titled "Become a Loyal Customer" under the "Doubloon Store" category. If you have enough, feel free to buy it! If you don't, start saving up! We decided to offer this as an alternative for those not interested in Teams, and also to give you guys an incentive to work for something new in the store. Note: If you already in a group like Retired Employees, Band Geeks, or Drasticals, the item will put your primary group as Loyal Customers. Please let me know if you want it display LC as primary or secondary after buying. If you are already say, a Retired Employee and want to buy it, it can be a sub-group for you and all of the features will still work. Note 2: If you have any issues with buying the item, using the item, or anything with the group in general, please respond to this topic.

  13. I was going to make this in The Krabby Kronicle, but apparently I don't have access to do that anymore. Very well then. This topic doesn't apply towards everyone, just a select few. Because for the most part, there is a good amount of our daily users list that know how to do this, but I can't sit back and be idle whenever I'm on here anymore when it comes to this. Last night drew a proverbial line in the sand for me. I had to speak out on this after finding out one of my friends on here was afraid to share his opinion on something that everyone on here has been talking about for the past twenty four hours. And why was he afraid to share that? Harassment. I'm not going to share who this person is out of the up most respect I have for him, but he's not alone. I know plenty of people on here who are afraid to share their thoughts or have to edit their's because they said something that they thought was stupid of them because other people have gone on the record to point out how wrong they are or flaws in their own opinions or in some cases say they have mental brain damage because they liked something that someone else didn't like. ...what the hell guys? This pisses me off more than it should because I love sharing my opinions and it disappoints me that we have others afraid to share theirs due to harassment. I thought we were suppose to be the mature SpongeBob forum or whatever have you? I expected petty remarks like this on other forums because of immaturity, but not here or the XAT. Yeah I know the XAT isn't associated with SBC anymore, but who are we kidding? No matter how many times we can say that, we all know every single user on here has been to the XAT at one point or another in their forum lives. I mean how hard is it to accept someone else has a different opinion from you? If you don't have anything nice to say to someone else, just don't say anything at all. I mean my god, is it the end of the world to just be respectful to one another? No need to be an ignorant ass and just ride on somebody for having a differing opinion, or not watching the same show as you, so on and so forth. I've said this more than once before and I'll say it again. There is somebody else behind the computer, cell phone, tablet screen that you are replying to and they have the same emotions as you. I'm not telling you to like anyone, but at the very least accept the fact that they are different from you. No need to post a derogatory reaction GIF, give a backhanded ass compliment, or go out of your way to be a douche just because you don't care what comes out of your mouth. Seriously what does that prove? That you are too cool to care about other people? Then why visit this site and keep coming back in the first place? Grow up and re-evaluate what you're doing with your life. I seriously hope this is the last time I have to make a topic like this because we have rules for a a reason. If you click that Guideline button on the home page, you'll see that this behavior is unacceptable. To the those of you this applies too, shape up. Nobody should be living in fear of harassment and I won't stand by and let this keep happening.

  14. Hey everyone, some things to say regarding SBC's staff. If you haven't noticed, Nuggets is now a Retired Employee. He has voluntarily decided to step down from SBC for the time being. He did a great job as an admin, but he has no time for staff work right now. That being said, he still may help us in some capacity in the future, so he's not dead. In his place, I have promoted JCM as a Manager, so give him a congratulations! However, this means we have a new mod spot open... Yup, like we did back in late 2012, we're having another application to become a new moderator on SBC. Just PM me if you are interested, and I will give you a list of questions to answer. Answer them honestly and thoughtfully, as they will be judged by me, hilaryfan80, JCM, Patty, CNF, and some select retired staff. The deadline to submit an application is October 2nd, the date we'll choose the new mod, so get to it. Keep in mind only one user will be picked, but it doesn't hurt to try.

  15. The SpongeBob Community is proud to announce the latest update to our fine community. Introducing… Succeeding Squid 12, Sponge 13 is the newest version of SBC, just in time to celebrate 20 years of SpongeBob, and 10 years of SBC! (Hence why’s it called “Sponge 13”) There’s lot to cover, yet so little time, so let’s crack on with what’s new with V13! Forum Upgrade No we’re not moving to vBulletin. (thank goodness) Our forum software, Invision Power Board, has been upgraded to IPB 4.4! While most of the new features in the upgrade are incredibly minor, a quite big one is the addition of an animated gif button for posts! Need to post your fave reaction gif, but don’t want to go through the hassle of searching for one via your search browser? Now you can find it via the post editor quickly and smoothly! New Skins It’s not a proper SBC update if it doesn’t have a new skin to go along with it. This time, we have 3 new skins available from the get go! Let’s take a dive shall we? V13 Sponge The new poster child skin for Sponge 13! Featuring a bright blue and green color scheme, as well as three exciting additions. The Slider makes its comeback, now taking home where the banner is. Want to know the latest news about or coming to SBC? Just click the little arrows on the left and right sides of the banner to find out! Also making its never before done debut, each forum section now has its own forum icon! Finally, the additional exciting return of forum headers, courtesy of Cha! There’s a little bit of previous version history sneakily hiding, so keep your eyes peeled! V13 Sponge Dark V13 Sponge a little too light for you? No problem, we also have a dark version available with all the pre-mentioned additions from V13. Just presented in a way to make your eyes a little less hurty. Neptune’s Castle The first custom skin available for V13, created by jjs and Local. Themed around the undersea castle of King Neptune, you can truly feel like royalty with this royal skin! New Features See, I told you animated gifs weren’t the only new feature. Thanks to the magic of IPS plugins, we’re pleased to announce 2 new features that’ll spongy up your SBC experience! Quizzes Basically it’s Sporcle, but now on SBC! With this, you can create your own quizzes about whatever you want, and have your friends compete to complete it correctly! To spice up the challenge, you can even give doubloons as a reward for those who finish. So get quizzing! Do note however there are multiple steps to set up your quiz, which we will detail below to make the process a breeze. To set up a quiz, click the “Create a quiz” button and select the theme category. Enter the quiz name and select the two quiz types (Graded or Study). If Grade is selected, please type in the time limit for how long players have to finish it. Click submit. On the right side, click “Manage Questions & Answers”, followed by “Add the first question”. Type the name of the question (example: What color is blue), then in the Correct Answer box, type “Blue”, and then write something in the Explanation box (It is required). Write the incorrect answers in the “Wrong Answers” section and then click “Save & Finish”. To add another question and repeat, click “Add Question”. Finally, click “Back to Quiz” and then click “ALLOW PLAYS”. This will now allow users to play your quiz. Now get quizzing! Moods Happy? Sad? Meh? Patty Time? You can now present your mood with this feature. Simply just click the smiley face next to your PM icon, and choose from a wide range of moods icons that fit the way you’re currently feeling. Moods are displayed on your profile, so everyone will be able to see how you’re feeling. Huge thanks to Local for helping create most of the mood icons! Updates That’s not all that’s new. We’ve also got a few minor updates also available. Portal - For those who have been with SBC since it’s forumotion days may remember its portal directory. We’re pleased to announce it’s making a full return, and shall serve as our new homepage! Discord - A new integration bot introduces a new way for newly posted topics to be displayed right on our Discord server! You can also login to SBC with your Discord and if chosen to do so, have your Discord avatar display as your SBC one! Emotes - Twenty new SpongeBob sticker emotes have been added to SBC, courtesy of Cha! In addition, SBC has now moved to Twitter style emojis for its default ones! User Mentioning - A new interface has been added for when you mention a user in a post. Skin Store - Four old skins from the past will be making their permanent return to the skin store, including Mystery Dungeon from RDSP’s King Neptune reign, The Gay Brothers Community from BenPaz’s KN reign, Jellyfish Fields (LC-only), and Tropical Sandy. (LC-only) Do note that you will have to let staff know when you buy them. SpongeCraft - Several new plugins and updates have been added to SC, courtesy of sbl. This includes Spleef, a competitive minigame in which players must destroy the blocks under other player’s surfaces to make them fall and be the last one standing. (This feature is still currently in beta. Feedback is appreciated) Chat is finally fixed and formatted correctly, a newer and efficient permissions system. Automatic announcements and tips. A new way to go to directory and clear your inventory. Facelift for the server selection screen, and general optimization. Loyal Customers - The Puffy Fluffy Community is now an LC-exclusive skin. Wiki - The SBC Wiki’s logo has been updated to go along with the V13 theme. The wiki has also been made more mobile friendly. Farewells While we’ve enjoyed saying hello to several new features, it’s also with great sadness to say goodbye to a few old features that have parted their ways with SBC. Blogs - Due to the lack of activity and our forum license no longer covering it, Blogs are no longer available on SBC. Of course, we’ve currently in the process of archiving as many blog posts as possible, so you can continue to admire them, even with the passing of what once hosted them. SBC Radio - With the addition of profile music, SBC Radio, aka Musicbox, has seen quite a decline and it’s fair to say it’s overstayed its welcome for the last time. May its spirit continue to bless us. V12 Skins - All V12 skins (V12 Squid, OBC, SBCNN and Tiki Island) are no longer available due to various issues. We hope to remaster most of these in the future. Toy Barrel - While not exactly a full goodbye, the Toy Barrel forum will now become a Club, due to the lack of activity. Well, that’s seems to be everything. Huge thanks to all our hard-working staff who each had a part in V13’s creation, and a huge thanks to you for sticking with us for 10 years. Let’s hope we survive long enough for when V14 releases.

  16. Alright, you guys have waited... 16 applications. That is a lot. This is our largest turn-out ever in doing these staff applications. The 9 judges have decided, and we could only pick one. There were a lot of great applications, there were. But ultimately, we came down to one user, which was... ... Give her a nice congratulations, and we welcome her with open arms to the staff! Please, no tears if you weren't picked. This was a hard choice for us (but if you have to cry that badly, I'll provide tissues). Better luck next time to the other applicants if and when we ever do this again.

  17. 10 years. 10 years on this community. I’m not alone to have this kind of milestone celebration, but I know we’d feel the same way. What a long time it has been. I never even actually planned for my time on SBC to end up lasting this long until I came into terms with the fact that I’ve become so attached to this website. I’ve been meaning to make it my goal this year that I get a lot of things done; my life on the internet and my own real life. I might have said this for every other year, but knowing that I’m going to be 25 later on, I have to make it happen. Time will only tell when I’ll stop being a regular member on SBC. I’m glad enough that I’ve stayed long enough to celebrate this milestone along with a few other longtime members. The best way for me to celebrate this occasion is with something that I’ve been meaning to do for a long time, something in which I haven’t done since a long time too. For all those that I’ve gotten to know very well, I have some of my own words to share. So without further ado, here are some shoutouts. My official anniversary isn’t for another two days but since I feel like some others will celebrate with these, I’m posting these earlier so anyone else can have their own time to celebrate: @4EverGreen: I never thought I’d start with you, but here I am. I appreciate how very well you stick your guns and keep your composure even after the many times someone like Hayden would make a wisecrack about you. Although I was also somewhat like that during my earlier years, I knew to stop when I started came to terms with the person that you tend you be ages ago, while I’ll still make an occasional wisecrack whenever you make one about you-know-what-singer-you-hate-to-death. Other than that, I appreciate how dedicated you are with your own writing. While I have only recently read bits and pieces of your recent work, I also must say that I like how you have a style like no one else has. Just keeping doing you. Enough said true believer. @70s: The eponymous former site leader during SBC’s early days. We’ve had our strives and I’ve endured drama on your part, same with tvguy, but even back then, I’ve appreciated the time you’ve taken yourself to be a valuable member. IIRC, you were one of the first few members of tv.com’s SpongeBob community to give me feedback from when I started my spin-off writing career. I remember it very well being negative, but it still serves as a reminder of how much better I’ve gotten in writing from in that span of time. Heck, since discovering your Bikini Top spin-off, though it has still aged gracelessly, I was committed to become the serial spin-off story writer that I’ve been for a long time thanks to it. You’ve matured a lot since you’ve started to open up about your real self, and in the process, you’ve become one of the more pleasant members of this community that I’ve come to know. @Aquatic Konquest: I love your graphic designs, especially some of the skins you’ve made for this site and I respect you for being one of my fellow Truth or Square backers. @CDCB: You are one of the funniest members I’ve known and considering that we’re both animation industry majors on the spectrum, it’s no surprise how we’ve gotten along so well. If you’re still focusing on your future animation career, I’d love to see it take off while I continue to work my way towards it. @Clappy: I like your reviews and your style of writing them. I always have. You’ve also inspired me to do my own entertainment reviews (and also Doug Walker, but I regret taking inspiration from him), including for my own preferred medium, so I’m thankful for that too. Also, because I haven’t said this before, congrats on your marriage, man. @Coffee_lover: I haven’t seen you around for a while on SBC and there were a few times we’ve talked. If you’re still there, I just wanted to say that you’re my favorite shitposter on here and while you have some of the hottest SpongeBob/animation takes I’ve seen, I appreciate how well you discuss them. @CyanideFishbone: We’ve squabbled a bit about music tastes a few times while you still very much regret your past self, but hey, all is still good between us. You have good taste in music and as well as some good taste in anime, considering how your review of MHA S3 got me interested in the series (I haven’t read your review to avoid spoilers, but I will soon once I’m up to that speed). @dmandamanAndKnuckles: You’re really great at the competitive scene on SBC and also a cool person to be around with. @E.V.I.L.: We haven’t spoken to each other in ages, but I want to let you know that I still think you’re a cool and humorous guy. @Funyarinpa: Although I’m by no means a sports fanatic like you are, at the very least I could say that I appreciate your contributions to this site (and on SBM before it sunk so low), especially during the Metalgate and Third Renaissance periods that we’ve all endured. Being a bit of a fan of Wander Over Yonder myself, I also respect your devotion to it. @G4RY SMELLY: Even if I don’t love Up as much as you do, we still have some common ground since I do love Up and I love Pixar as well. here’s also hoping that you find the cure for your itchy balls. @HawkbitAlpha: I’ve known you since you were a member named ACS who was hellbent on trying to “destroy SBC.” You took a rather long time to erase that past self of yours and mature, and when you matured enough to return to SBC, you earned a lot of my respect. I know it’s cliché of me to bring this up and contrast it the person you are now, but most others here said it best that you’ve had the best redemption arc out of any former enemy of SBC. If anything else I could add, I have stopped being mad at (or to an extent, stopped caring about) ACS by 2014 and I was silently willing to give you a second chance when you first spoke on SBM about making amends. You were young then and now you’ve grown up by a lot. You’re also one of the smartest members I’ve come to know, so I commend your political knowledge compared to my lack thereof. @Jackie Chan: No contest, you are my favorite SBC god. You can kick my butt any time. @JCM: You’ve made yourself out to be a great site modder and as well as a great site leader. Also, while I haven’t mustered up the time to read most of your writing like for most other fellow spin-off/lit writers here, from what I’ve seen, you are a talented and humorous writer and I appreciate you for continuing to give the writing forums a pulse. @jjsthekid: There’s so much I could say about you, but I want to keep things fair and not provide too much. You’ve been one of my greatest friends on SBC since our first year on here. We’ve both been making names of ourselves within the spin-off/lit community. Every once in a while I still have convos with you on Discord about things like Pokemon, Spyro, and other topics we’re both keen on. Most of all, you remain one of the biggest contributors for SBC, organizing events, keeping things in order, communicating with other fellow members, etc., so it’s no wonder a lot of my gratitude goes out to you. @kev: I’ve got to hand it to you for giving me some support and feedback for my entertainment reviews. Other than that, you’re a funny and cool guy, plain and simple. @Majesty Yuka: We’ve been close friends since around 2012 when we’ve been exchanging some funny jokes, including the time where I’ve been inspired to go by ‘the gnarliest stuff in the ocean.’ Ffs, I even made a serialized joke spin-off where I wrote a version of myself to be a serial killer who makes burgers out of lethal seahorse radish based on your request. It’s no surprise to see why I’ve remained a close friend, since years later you would open up about your own personal life issues and I would come around to give you my support. Enough about you and I though, the rest of these words are for you alone. You are an amazing and unique artist. That and you are one of the nicest and most supportive people I’ve come to know in this community. @Mr. Kite: It’s always nice to have someone interested in the animation medium as much as I am. Also, because I have my review to prove it, I’ve enjoyed your writing on your Lit, so I’d still like to see you continue it later. @NegiSpongie: You may be done with posting in the spin-off/lit forums and I have seen little of your writing myself, I’ve heard from word of mouth on fanfiction.net ages ago that you are one of the most respected SB fan-writers there, so if I do indulge in your writing at some later point, I do feel like I could enjoy your writing. Aside from that, I respect you for being one of the biggest SB fans here. @Nick Cannon: I commend you for being able to moderate SBC even after knowing that you have epilepsy. Other than that, I respect you for being one of the few other music critics on the site and for being a pretty outgoing guy. @Old Man Jenkins: You’re a talented and humorous writer (We wouldn’t have had Skodwarde without you, man) and an all-around chill guy. @OWM: We’ve hardly talked to each other, but I can certainly tell you that you've done a great job as a site moderator. @Patty Rose: I admire your art and your graphics for SBC. You’ve made some great contributions to the site, so I know you make a great co-leader for the community. You just keep doing what you do best, girl. @President Squidward: Being friends with you was something that took time. One of my earliest memories of you was through some of your posts in that old, infamous Frozen 2 thread, when you still had that weird Disney hate boner. Years later in 2017, I would find myself bonding with you over our own frustrations towards YT’s TTG-hating-circlejerk cartoon analysis community before we began talking about our own interests. I like how you’re a man of many interests and you’ve gotten me openly curious about subjects like Wunschpunsch, Plaid, and Karl Hadrika’s work though I haven’t started delving into either of those things yet. You’ve outdone yourself in showing your devotion towards your interests by evolving from the Squidward crossovers guy into the leader of a Squnschpunsch movement that even you got me into. While I still got to create my own Squnschpunsch drawing due to your overlord request, I am focusing on that and I assure that you’ll love it when it’s done. @RarityOdd: No question about it, you have the biggest heart within the community and you’re one of SBC’s most dedicated members. Even while English wasn’t your first language, I respect how well you’ve communicated with each one of us. Heck, you and I have been close friends since our first year on SBC, when we were Phineas & Ferb defending “fugitives” in a timeframe when some of the members would scream bloody murder over anyone expressing their love for the show. Putting aside those weird times, it’s good to see how you’re still close to us and the forums even after you’ve decided to stop keeping up with the series that this website is built around. @Renegade the Unicorn: It’s hard for me to muster up the time to read most of the stories archived on SBC, so I’ve merely seen bits and pieces of your writing, but I still respect your creative drive and dedication to then and as well as helping keep the spin-off/lit forums alive. @Sauce Mama: You live up to your old handle, Serving Up Smiles, and that’s an understatement. Simply put, you’re a very pleasant, amazing, and even sometimes a cool person to be around. @SG19: We’ve rarely talked to each other. Regardless, I respect you a lot for being one of the few OGs still dedicated to being part of this community. Also, and I’ve only heard of this through JCM’s shout-outs thread, congrats on your college graduation. @Snom: Like most other fellows, our relationship started off rocky. And like most other members, I would understand you better later on and respect you as one of our biggest OGs. You were an interesting person, which made writing your fictionalized self on UWS S3 fun. Not only that, I appreciated your support for my said spin-off and as well for being one of the biggest competitive players on SpongeBob Jeopardy, though I wasn’t around for most of Trophy’s and your victories. @Sweat: I like your eccentric taste in music, as it has gotten me openly curious about some of your favorites. Other than that, I’ve also enjoyed your Squidward Chat! spin-off. @teenj12: I wish I could say this to you earlier, but anyways, congrats on you for focusing on your publishing career. It’s sad to see that you had to prematurely end some of your Teenjverse stuff. Regardless, I still respect you for your contributions to SBC, your contributions to the spin-off/lit writing community, and for taking this big step towards your own life. @terminoob: Now you, you are the true OG since SBC wouldn’t have been made without you. Early on, we’ve had our disputes. Despite that, I always thought you were a cool guy. I like your passion for the animation medium and I love your artwork. If you’re still focusing on your graphic novel career, I’m eager to see it take off and then I could be one of the first few hundred or thousands to witness your work. @tvrepairman: I’ve had to endure a lot of your drama in the past. As the years came by, you’ve matured by a lot. You may be too pre-occupied with your own personal life to pop up again and find this, yet still I wanted to let you know that I respect you for all that you’ve done for this community. I became an immediate member thanks to you and sbs1fan promoting the heck out of the old forumotion site on tv.com (a.k.a. the MySpace of my time). Back when you were an active writer for the spin/lit forums, I respect your consistent creative drive and your articulateness for your young age at that time. Even though it got you a little too far a few times, I respect your serious devotion to keeping SBC alive and active until you were done co-running the site. @Tyrion Lannister: You’re an underrated and talented writer based on what I’ve seen of your spin-off/lit writing and you’re just a cool person in general. @WhoBob: Along with a few other members, you are one of my fellow entertainment nerds. You’re great at writing your reviews on top of being a great person to talk to. @WinterArcanine: I know I wouldn’t forget to mention you since you are my partner in crime in defending the greatness that is Truth or Square. I also commend you for your big devotion to SpongeBob in general. @WoahResurrectedCrap22: I’m surprised how well you took the criticism and cheap jabs that some of us had given you back in 2010-2012 in retrospect, even after I’ve said it numerous times that I was personally ashamed of writing a Lit satirizing you to the point of erasing it. That goes to show that you’ve matured. Although you seem to have left the site on your own terms or probably due to some drama on Discord that I wasn’t completely aware of, I feel you’re still out there continuing on to do better things. @Wumbo: While Claps got me interested in doing my own entertainment reviews, you inspired me to do my own music critiques through your own pop music reviews. Your passion for music is undeniable and those reviews of yours come out on top most of time. You’re also a competent writer, knowing your past history as a spin-off/lit writer. @Young Nug: You’re one of the site’s best pop culture debaters and as well as one of the best former admins we’ve had. It’s a shame that I don’t see you around so much anymore since you’re focusing on your own real life outside the net. So here’s hoping that you’re making the most of your life right now. And a special thanks to everyone else that I couldn’t give a shoutout to. The rest of you mean a lot to me. -Finally, I also have some shoutouts to those who have either been inactive for years (or for several months) or are outside of SBC yet still remain important to me and are worth my own words: Classic Nickelodeon Fan 1: I appreciated your input on the spin-off/lit forums, as well as for the rest of the site when you were a mod. You’re a really nice and creative guy too, so it’s no wonder why we still miss seeing you from time to time. ExKizuna: Oh boy. I had squabbled with you more than anyone else. You’ve caused a good enough amount of drama in the past too. When you’ve had the reputation of being a “cool” and “badass” member, some of the things you’ve done here haven’t aged well. How some of us used to write you on our respective Lits haven’t aged well either, given the whole Ex SBC Lit curse as Jjs’ Riffing Theater described it. I’m also never going to forget the time you were trying to get me banned before we both made amends on XAT. Despite how I feel about your past, you still remain important to me for a few reasons. Having talked with you, I’ve learned when I needed to stop talking, I’ve realized how much of a pest I was for consistently asking to be a mod during my first year, and I’ve learned to grow a backbone (although, sometimes, it wasn’t all for the right reasons). I also feel like you may have regrets of your own past self since those moments happened a long time ago, and if so, I’d say you’re still cool in my eyes and I hope we can still be…moddies (jk, i won’t ever call us that again). Goosebumpsfan2: I’ve known you as Goosebumpsfan here on SBC and on tv.com. I’ve known you as The Regurgitator on the Phineas & Ferb Wiki. I’ve known you as Spongey444 on SBM and on your own blog. Of course, we had our rough times, including when I’ve heard about your fights outside of SBC with SOF. We’ve had some good times too as you were the first person to stand by me for loving P&F. In addition, I’ve read a few of your entertainment review on your respective blog and I must say, you’re quite a good reviewer and I’m glad to see that you’ve been making a living out of something you enjoy doing. Homie: I want to thank you again for your bravery during the Third Renaissance and for letting us all know about your story. The more I got to know the person that you are, the clearer it was to me that you’re one of the most mature and smartest people on SBC. You’re pre-occupied with your own personal life, so I can see why you’re no longer active on here. Nonetheless, just keep being strong. Jane: I still remember very well when you were once known as Teamwork/Stancakes. I also still remember when you ended up getting banned on XAT before getting banned on SBC once because you couldn’t control yourself, all back in 2016. Even despite your behavior back then, I’ve always thought you were a cool enough person to talk to on the forums and while you’ve outgrown SBC, I respect you for your soul-searching that made you redeemed and earned your unbanning. Also, while I’ve seen little of your digital artwork, I love what I’ve seen of it. MadameCat: I’ve haven’t heard from you since you ended up getting banned on tv.com in 2011 while the pre-movie/post-movie debates were still going on there, so this is going to feel like I’m talking to a ghost. Still though, I at least want to reach out to you with nothing more than some words on your behalf. While my experience with Ex taught me not to be a doormat, looking back at my regretful experiences of targeting you during the so-called nostalgia disputes taught me how important it is to respect the opinions of others and it taught me to treat people online like how I want to be treated. However you’re doing now, I hope you’re making the most out of your life. I haven't heard from you in such a long time, yet you still remain in my mind because of this solemn reminder. Sabre: The last that I’ve heard from you, you logged back in one day in 2015 to tell us that you’re focusing on your job as a television writer in your home country. If that’s still your career, then I give you cheers for continuing to move on to great things. I still miss you a lot though. SpongeSebastian: You weren’t just one of the first few friends I’ve made on tv.com when I first joined. You were the OG member of the SpongeBob internet community. Since those early days, you were the first guaranteed person any other member on tv.com would know when they were introduced to the community. I don’t see you around anymore, but I still appreciate your contributions a lot. tvfan95: You left the community on such an odd note, but the SB spin-off writing world would’ve never existed without you making it into the creative movement that it was since 2008, so I have some respect to give to you. Thanks for reading and here's to another year of SBC.

  21. The newest SBC version is here, which marks our upgrade to Invision Power Suite 4, is... V11 STARFISH! (or Starfish 11) Yup, it's finally here. What's New?: New Doubloons System: hilaryfan80 has hand coded a new doubloons system, and we've completely remade the store. All your store items and doubloons have stayed. You can see your store items in the "Store Items" tab on your profiles, and you can see your amounts in said area, along with in posts. Also, in good news, you no longer have to do ibEconomy's annoying process of going into My Portfolio to use your item. You can use the item as soon as you buy it, if it is usable! We are aware things like the Lottery and Bank are not there. We have decided to remove the bank, but the lottery will return, I promise. Regarding items, Name Change is now restricted to once to every other week use, and keep in mind using it will change your login name. New Badges System: We have a new way of displaying badges in posts, akin to an awards system. It shows your post, primary group, and any other special achievements. When you hover over them, it will tell you the badge description. All of the badges were redesigned by Patty, so give him a round of applause.Chatroom: You've all asked for it, and we now have our own chatroom! It is connected directly to our shoutbox, and posts will show up on both. We have not gotten rid of Xat, but this is an alternative for those who can't access it. This chatroom is much more mobile friendly. Just keep in mind all rules still apply in this chatroom.New Skins: We have two brand new skins: V11 Starfish and Midnight Sponge! V11 Starfish is actually what SpongeTown, the exclusive skin Loyal Customers had access to. To make up for this, Loyal Customers now have access to two old skins: Orca 8.4 and Jellyfish Fields.Upgraded Calendar: The Calendar has been upgraded, so now we can display birthdays and events like upcoming SpongeBob episodes for everyone to see. You can submit new episodes if you want, but do note they must be approved by staff.Redesigned Profiles: Your profile pages have also received a huge facelift.SPECIAL GIFT: As a gift from us, those who login to SBC this weekend, you will receive 100 doubloons and a V11 Polo Shirt for your iFish, made by Patty!I've only highlighted major things here, but you may notice other minor details I didn't cover. There's a lot of new things! However, some things also did not make the cut sadly. What's Gone? Arcade: As stated here, the Arcade has been removed. Thanks to those who played it in for its farewell tournaments.Treedome Daily: Treedome Daily has also been shutdown due to lack of interest. Sorry to those who liked it, but it had very little usage, so we saw no point in restoring something that would be unnoticed. Maybe one day it'll return in some form.Old Skins: All old skins except for Splash, Jellyfish Fields and Orca 8.4 have been removed. We took the votes in the poll topics seriously, and gave you guys what you wanted. Sorry to those who liked skins like Attack on Bikini Bottom, Midnight in Bikini Bottom, etc., but don't worry, they can still return one day. I hope you guys love this update. The staff and I worked hard on it for almost a month, planning every little detail and making sure it was perfect. The Loyal Customers have known about our plans for a while. We know not everyone will love it, but whatever. Can't please everyone. HOWEVER.... That is not all just yet! Here are some things to look forward to in the coming weekend... SpongeCraft Update (Added)New Employee of the Month Widget: The EOTM widget will come back, so don't panic. We're working on it. (Added)Usergroup Legend (Added)Wiki Updates (Added)Member Icons (Added)Bug Fixes: We know there are some minor bugs such as smilies and bbcodes (like profile music) not working, the undefined bug in the chatroom, and we will fix these. If you find anymore, either report them in the topic or PM a staff member. (Added, most have been fixed - if you find any others, please report them)We will announce these updates when they come, but for now, enjoy what we have given you. We really hope you like this update.

  22. WHAT THE HELL IS HAWK DOING HERE?! Well, after five long years in exile, I've been allowed by the MAGNANIMOUS STAFF OF THIS YELLOW HOUSE to return from my leave of shame. Yes, you heard that right! "WHAT?! I think the world is coming to an end!" Yeah, seriously, like fire and brimstone coming down from the skies, rivers and seas boiling! Earthquakes, volcanoes! The dead rising from their graves! HUMAN SACRIFICE!! CATS AND DOGS LIVING TOGETHER, MASS HYSTERIA ...seriously though, all extreme over-dramatization aside, it feels good to be back. This ought to be fun.

  23. By now, some of you may or may not have noticed a staff change. Let me just start by saying Patty Sponge has decided to step down from his mod position. Patty personally felt he did not have much time for the site anymore, and all of the staff understood upon hearing his reasoning. There was nothing he or we did wrong, he just wants to focus on other things in real life, and wanted to move on from the site. We'll miss the ol' British chap, but he won't be entirely gone. He may still pitch in for graphic assistance and ideas in the future. He helped evolve our graphics (particularly iFish and Badges) a lot, there's no denying. He now has a comfy spot as a Retired Employee at least. Still, wish him the best of luck for his future. But yes, after much staff discussion, we've decided his replacement is... @Fred Rechid! Yes, Fred is our newest SBC moderator for the team! Give him a round of applause. We believe he'll offer a lot to the team. For those wondering why we didn't do another mod application for this, we already had two in the past year, so we felt another would've been excessive. That being said, we did slightly base this decision on past app experience, and current behavior on SBC this year. Feel free to give Fred a jolly good rookie celebration, and here's hoping he breaks a leg as a mod... well, not seriously, I hope.

  25. So after IP banning StormAllenBryat and his duplicate accounts once again, I just thought I'd let you guys know a little something. While I still find Storm pretty humorous, I have to wonder, why is he not doing this to SBM? Well that's because they didn't make Storm into a pretty big deal over there. He was just his normal Stormy self over there and eventually got what was coming to him. On SBC, we over publicized Storm into a one week troll phenomenon where there were tons of Storm based spin-offs and lits and also a topic about the words and wisdom of this ten year old. Guys I understand it's fun to troll around with trolls. I was guilty of doing some of it myself with his Twitter joke status and making a parody of all the recent events in a SBCinema version of Pinocchio. However, sometimes pushing someone takes things a little too far. Hence why he is constantly making new accounts attempting to troll SBC at the moment. I mean hell, some of you guys joined SBM or spent more time on SBM, just to provoke Storm. You know how the saying goes, "don't feed the trolls"? Well I think this is a good time to bring up that reminder because this whole StormAllenBryat craze has officially become over the top. Guys there are better things to talk about than Storm. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill here, but just let the kid fail troll and the SBC staff will take care of it. If you want to help out, just report the kid and move on. There are better things to do out there than just constantly say "Storm sucks LOL" or try to find more ways to provoke him.

  27. Do not double post, or triple post, or anything above that. That is all. EDIT: That is not all. This is the sort of post that happens when your fingers move faster than your brain, and I'm appalled at myself for not fixing this sooner. Multi-posting is permitted under certain circumstances. These circumstances are as follows: 1. You are posting episodes of a spin-off or literature. 2. You are updating a personal, blog-like thread (e.g. Sharing Time, a music-sharing thread) 3. You are posting countdowns (within reason, if you can fit multiple spots into one post, we would prefer you do so). Any other time, multi-posting is against the rules. Please use the Edit button for all other circumstances. Fortunately, I haven't been seeing much multi-posting outside of the guidelines, but just in case, remember: The Edit Button is your best friend. Thank you.

  28. United States September 7th, 2015 - 6:00pm ET/PT - 191 - The Executive Treatment / Squid Plus One September 18th, 2015 - 7:30pm ET/PT - 192A - Pull Up a Barrel September 25th, 2015 - 7:30pm ET/PT - 192B - Company Picnic Straight from Vincent's twitter, it looks like we have two new episodes September 7th. That is a Wednesday, so I have no idea what's happening that day unless Nick is doing weekly Wednesday premieres like Cartoon Network's New Thursdays. (EDIT: September 7th is a Monday and it's premiering then because of the Labor Day holiday - disregard the Wednesday stuff). Just today however, he revealed the titles of both episodes, along with the synopsis of one. The Executive Treatment (Sep 7th): While trying to order a special sandwich, Patrick gets swept up in the fast paced world of business. Squid Plus One (Sep 7th): Squidward receives an invitation to a gallery opening and scrambles to find a friend to take with him. Company Picnic (Sep 18th): Mr. Krabs throws a company picnic to boost morale, but Plankton hosts his own picnic on the same day. Pull Up a Barrel (Sep 25th): Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob tales from his old navy days. Source: https://twitter.com/VincentWaller72/status/630751107770224640 Will update this when we get more information. EDIT: The premiere has been changed to September 7th. EDIT 2: Nick and More reports that starting September 18th, weekly 11-minute premieres will occur at 7:30pm ET. Source: https://twitter.com/nickandmore/status/634948820661587968

  29. Some of you may be wondering. What is Stop What You Are Doing? It's an event where SBC users change their name and avatar based on a specific theme. While we do have plenty of times where we switch up our themes for any random fad, like the Blue's Clues one going on right now for example, SWYADs are officially endorsed by the SpongeBob Community and its staff. On April 5th, we will be having a NEW Stop What You're Doing for the first time since June 2012. SWYADs last for about a week so from April 5th - April 12th, the name change feature will be unlocked and you get to change your name and theme without purchasing the name change feature. What is the theme this time you may ask? Suggested by Unlimitedcha, we are having a Superhero themed SWYAD. So pick your favorite superhero or you can even be a super villain whether it be characters like Batman or even the Joker. You can change your username to your character, and your avatar to something that goes with the character. Note that this is VOLUNTARY and you are not required to do this, but think of it as a week of changing your theme around and even a superhero roleplay thread is possible. You will keep these new names until April 12th, when everyone MUST change their names back, as after that, you'll have to purchase the name change feature to change your name back. Also, another rule is to please post who you actually are in the signatures below to withhold any forms of possible confusion. Anywho, this thread is also for registration. That way you can make your claim to which character you want to be ahead of time before someone else. Claimed (so far) Jjs = Batman AN = Static Shock Clappy = Captain America SOF = The Beak CNF = Quailman CDCB = Powdered Toast Man Patty Sponge = The Joker Unlimitedcha = Harley Quinn CF = Danny Phantom kevinng = Mermaid Man TrophyStealer = Man Ray Wumbo = Hawk Gal OMJ = Valhallen Dylan = Spider-Man Metal Snake = Robin Halibut = Green Lantern Steel = Iron Man Dr. Sex = Rorscach William Leonard = Dirty Bubble Elastic Dog = Etrigan Sauce Mama = Wonder Woman JCM = Superman terminoob = The Rocketeer Shinya = Silver Samurai teenj = Avatar Aang Webby = Thor Box = Barnacle Boy Jack Spicer = Jack Spicer Jelly = Buttercup
