Popular Post Jjs Goodman
I have some either sad or good news depending how you feel about this, but we will be losing our forum Arcade by the end of the month. Why are we losing it? Well, it's time I stop being vague and reveal what's happening... Later this month will be upgrading to Invision Power Board 4! I have already told some people about this and the Loyal Customers all know this by now, but that's why we are losing Display Names (but we will keep Name Changes, just so we're clear on that. It will just change your login name, and we'll have to give a huge warning about that if people forget), our skin poll, and why we had to adjustments to Profile Music. I won't reveal anymore on what it will bring just yet, but it'll be a huge change for SBC. It'll basically be the same layout as it is now, just with a lot of cool new features, so don't worry about it being drastically different. The "SBC" skin in the selector is modeled after IPB 4, so that can give you a taste on how it will look. So there, that should clear any speculations people had. The only thing lost in this upgrade will be our forum arcade. Unfortunately, this isn't in our control at all. Forum arcades have become less desired and flash games are dying, so we don't really have any games to add (hence why our arcade is so empty, although that is partly due to a glitchy system). In fact, the maker of our Arcade mod, iArcade, stopped updating it over a year ago, leaving the note: "At the moment there are no plans to update iArcade for IPS Community Suite 4. Flash is dying and thus so are flash games. Thank you for your support of iArcade over the years!" And no other Arcade mods have been made for IPB 4 either, as there is no high demand for them anymore due to flash dying. Sorry to those who liked the arcade, but it will be gone when we upgrade. At the end of the day it wasn't important to SBC's history, and I'm sure you can live without it, since very few people really used it anyways. Some people asked why we just don't make our own arcade, but nobody really uses it, so there's no point in making something people won't use. Plus, flash is essentially dead, so we wouldn't have many games to add either. I just wanted to alert people now so it's not a surprise sooner. However, I will offer this on a better note: I will be hosting two arcade tournaments on September 18th and 19th, as a farewell to it. I'll be posting some games within a time period and whoever breaks their high scores will receive prizes! The first one will be September 18th @ 8:00pm and the second will be September 19th @ 9:00pm, so feel free to check back on this topic for information on that. So enjoy the Arcade while it lasts now, as it will be gone forever when we upgrade.
crushingmayhem
I'm fine with seeing the arcade dropped for IPB 4, its rarely used and only has a few games worth playing. Surely, these changes will be worth it in the long run.
Joe Biden
While I still have some high scores logged in from some of the games on here I don't want to lose, I understand it's for the best. Plus, it'll all be worth it when we upgrade to IPB 4. *takes screen shots of my high scores*

Jjs Goodman
Tournament #1: Alright, for the first tournament, you will have 3 different games to break the high scores in. Here are the games: 1. Bullseye Blaster 2 (UPDATE: Fred has broke this one's high score!) 2. SpongeBob Bumper Suds (UPDATE: JCM has broke this one's high score!) 3. Bean Hunter (UPDATE: Hayden has broke this one's high score!) I'll keep track of who breaks the scores. You can play them in any order if you want, and you don't have to do all. The winners, or winner, will receive 1,000 doubloons. You can break the high scores in more than one game, so someone could win all 3 if they want. ClassicNickelodeon Fan 1
Alright, all the high scores have been broken for tonight. That's all for tonight folks, but stay tuned tomorrow night at 9pm EST for the last Arcade tournament on SBC. The last Arcade Tournament...wow. It's been fun playing these games while they lasted. May the arcade rest in peace... ...or maybe it doesn't have to. I recently performed a trick I discovered in order to grab content that was hard to grab using programs and such. I used the Inspect Element button on the arcade games and managed to get the direct links to the .swf files of every single game in our arcade. I have downloaded every single game from our arcade, and I will be offering download links to those who PM me! There's just two things I must stress: 1. You will need a .SWF file opener installed on your computer. For Windows users, I recommend SWF Opener. 2. You will not be able to submit scores to SBC anymore. Your previous scores will also not be saved, so be sure to screenshot them if you want to keep them. Also, the scores that you get while playing the .SWF files will also not be saved. So basically, no score saving. But at least you can play them. May the arcade live on!

Jjs Goodman
I hope I'm not the only one noticing that Ball Breaker is... broken. You may have to elaborate, as users have reported it works for them. Anyways, if nobody breaks the scores by 10pm, I'll just give the doubloons to whoever was closest, so 17 minutes remain.
